Can I raise the seat of a Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster?

I am looking at getting a Harley Davidson 883 Iron but think that the seat’s a little low (I ride an 86 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk now). Is there a way to raise it up a bit to make it more comfortable?
